Today, I’m a dad, husband, and a while ago I discovered that I tested as an Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging (INFJ) personality type so my life finally makes sense. About our Avatars
The Half Life Crisis Avatars are the timeless depiction of
how Half Life Crisis started. They won’t
age, they encapsulate a moment in time that lives forever. Much the essence of a person. Those who got an avatar is because they were
actively as an inspiration and motivation for Half Life Crisis.
The “Marcelo doodle” is something I designed sometime in my teens as an
alter-ego that was ready to face the world, and to have the world see my face,
and who I am. Fast forward to when Half
Life Crisis was created, it is when this little Marcelo avatar was ready to meet
the rest of the world.

Alicia

She is my 40+ year old All-American Pacific Northwestern beloved wife. She came into my life almost 20 years ago and we've been married for over a decade. We’ve traveled the world together and, most importantly, she’s the mother of our child. Alicia is the love of my life, and I would not trade her for the world. Alicia is actually very artistic and funny- not sure if she does it intentionally (about the funny part)- but she's awesome to be around. She also volunteers to edit my many language blunders. And of course, Alicia tolerates our shenanigans.
Petra
Original Motivator
Petra | BeeZee's Best Friend Forever (BFF)
She is my 40-something year old Croatian American BFF. Her heart is in the Midwest with her two children, Noah and Maya. She grew up in Zagreb and Chicago. After a short stint in Paris, she embarked on a sprouting journey where her most important life-altering friendships were shaped. Petra was at the beginning of this entire project, and she was the main motivator to help me believe in myself and not give up. Thanks to her is that Half Life Crisis was not forgotten. She was here from the start, Petra is family!
Aki
Furry Princess
Aki | BeeZee's Beloved Furry Daughter
She is our little Standard Schnauzer that we adopted a few years ago. She is the biological furry child from a family of gorgeous show dogs. Aki is the most docile and loving living creature on this planet. Though her breeding contract says she cannot be a “show dog”, it does not say she cannot run her own show, which is exactly what she does. Every day. Aki just trips and falls into cuteness. You will see a lot of Aki's many photobombs, and cute photos of her in here, and her shenanigans! If happiness was manifested as cuddly puppy, that's Aki!
